Rotary Kingdom Impact held our first ever service project on October 7, 2023 during the Fall for St. Johnsbury event. Members of the club collected food and wellness items at The White Market to support the market at Northeast Kingdom Community Action (NEKCA) in St. Johnsbury.

The community was amazing! Shoppers helped us to secure 420 pounds of food and $130 in cash and gift card donations to help local families.
"Food shelves rely on the generosity of our community to keep food on our shelves," said Becca Lewis the Director of Outreach Services at NEKCA. "With out these donations it is hard to meet the demands we face daily for providing food to people walking through our doors."

Becca continued, "Over the past few years we have seen a constant increase of people coming through our doors every month. We have more than tripled the number of people utilizing our Marketplace/Food Shelf."

"Our club is so excited to have kicked off our service projects and are so thankful to the community for supporting our efforts," said Brynn Evans the President of Rotary Kingdom Impact. "It was an excellent effort by our club members and we all had fun making a difference for NEKCA and the families they serve. This is the first of many projects we will undertake together. Interested in having fun through service? Contact us today to learn more!"
